A Message from Pastor Harold Blair
We live in times of much turbulence, turmoil and trouble. From the human standpoint there is often not a great deal of hope to be found around us. In such times, our hearts fill not only with fear and uncertainty, but our minds are often filled with questions and doubts. God has provided us an oasis in this desert of fear and turmoil and I firmly believe it is located in the gathering of the Body of Christ or the church.
Kingsley is such a sacred oasis in the desert of secular life with its storms and desolation. Kingsley United Methodist Church is a group of desert travelers like you, who have found an oasis in Christ, the church and one another. You do not have to travel the desert of life alone. There is at the corner of 9th and Cranberry Streets in Erie, Pa, an oasis for your weary and thirsty soul.
If your thirst is better quenched by quiet reflective traditional worship, Kingsley offers a morning worship service each Sunday at 10:30am in its beautiful sanctuary. Come apart from the tiresome journey of life and meet with God allowing him to satisfy your thirst and inner heart’s hunger.
As you journey through the desert of life please know that you have friends at Kingsley. As one of the friends I want you to know you may contact me anytime for talk and prayer. All you need do is phone 814-459-3205 and ask for me or leave a message. You may also contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. My prayer is that your journey will include time at God’s Oasis.
